Samanvithaa Chess Academy was founded on 26th July, 2004 to teach the real value of Chess. We believe that by playing chess, the student excels in skills such as time management, decision making under pressure, reading a complicated situation and developing alternative lines of solutions, respect for fellow players. Most importantly, we teach the spirit of sportsmanship: Our teaching has helped students perform well in Academics as well.

Master Kaustubha is the New No.1 of Samanvithaa Chess Academy
HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS to Master Kaustubha, the New No.1 player of Samanvithaa Chess Academy. He overtook Master Chanakya and is now leading ahead with 12 points on 1863. Chanakya is on 1851 and Jatin is on 1842. Master Pawan improved his rating and is now No.5 with 1738 points.

An interesting triangle has set in. Three players are within the range of catching one another. As per the latest rating chart..the current No.1 is Master Jatin (1831), No.2 is Master Kaustubha (1828) and No.3 is Master Chanakya(1826). But as per the current ratings Chanakya is leading with 1832 followed by Jatin and Kaustubha with 1828 and 1821 respectively.

Proud students of Samanvithaa Chess Academy Master Chanakya and Master Kaustubha secured 5th and 6th position in the Inter School Chess Competition conducted by Deccan Chronicle at Hyderabad recently. The pool included 150 - 200 students in the city. The academy congratulates these boys for their tremendous achievement.
